Playing out of Minneapolis, the Minnesota Vikings compete in the North Division of the National Football Conference in the National Football League. They Vikings have won their division a whopping seventeen times, and have made it to the Super Bowl four times. They also have the dubious distinction of losing all four Super Bowls.

Founded in 1961, the Vikings played out of the metropolitan Stadium through 1981, and then moved to the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Since 2006, the Vikings have been noted for their particularly brutal defense lead by the Williams Wall, or the Williams Wrecking Crew, consisting of defensive tackle Keven Williams, and nose tackle Pat Williams. Although the two are not related, they have become one of the most feared defenses in the NFL today.

In hopes of boosting their offense, the Vikings signed Percy Harvin from Florida and with his athletic ability hope to put some sizzle in their offense. Picking up fourteen undrafted rookies including running back, Ian Johnson, and wide receiver Vinny Perretta, the Vikings hope to capitalize on little known talent and finish what they started last year at the playoffs.
