Better known by his stage name Jay-Z, Shawn Corey Carter is one of the most financially successful hip hop artists / entrepreneurs in the United States. Winner of several Grammy Awards, Jay-Z has sold over 30 million copies of his albums and is the owner of the New Jersey Nets.

Despite being a wildly successful businessman, Jay-Z is best known for his musical work which he started early. Originally he was unable to get a record deal which prompted Jay-Z, along with Damon Dash, and Kareem Biggs to create Roc-A-Fella Records as their own independent label. Months later, he released his debut album Reasonable Doubt.

Beginning in Febuary of 2010, Jay-Z will be back on tour promoting his latest #1 Album, The Blueprint 3 as well as his recently released video game, DJ Hero: Renegade Edition. The tour will start out in L.A. and go cross country, stopping in Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Greensboro, Washington, and more.
