Founded in 1993 by composer Paul O’Neill, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) is a cross culture, cross genre group whose name was inspired by the Trans-Siberia Railway in Russia. The railway is said to connect cultures that would otherwise be isolated. Working with this concept, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra uses a full 60-piece orchestra and a choir, combining classical with progressive rock, symphonic metal, and heavy metal. The orchestra has sold over $9 million tickets to concerts and $8 million albums since they began touring. Most famous for their renditions of traditional Christmas songs, the Transiberian Orchestra puts on full, elaborate concerts complete with a light show and pyrotechnics synchronized with the music. The Trans Siberian Orchestra is known for being charitable and has donated more than $10 million dollars since 1993. At least $1 of every ticket sold goes to a local charity in the areas in which the group tours.
The Trans Siberian Orchestra Tour 2012 is entitled The Lost Christmas Eve. The final part of the Christmas trilogy returns this year and is sponsored by the Hallmark Channel. The story is one of loss and redemption. A business man gives his new born son to the state at birth when the mother dies from complications and the two are reunited years later due to the magic of Christmas Eve.
The orchestra will make stops in many cities including Denver, Uncasville, New York, Boston and Cleveland. Bubbas Got Tickets has the best variety of tickets to all Trans Siberian Orchestra Christmas tour performances. Get your Trans Siberian Orchestra Tour 2012 tickets from Bubba today!
