Sooners tickets are now on sale at BubbasGotTickets.com. The Sooners are currently members of the Big 12 Conference which is a Division 1 Bowl Subdivision of the NCAA. Started in 1895, the Sooners are the most successful program of the modern era with the longest winning streak in Division history with 47 straight victories.
Currently coached by Bob Stoops, the Sooners as of 2008 are tanked by ESPN as the most prestigious college football program since 1936. After a fantastic season they were defeated by the Gators for the BCS Championship.
For the 2009 season, Coach Stoops has his work cut out for him offensively. While the Sooners defensive line is second to none, their offense is lacking experience. For that reason, the Sooners are somewhat of an unofficial underdog. Whether they win or lose, this is one season you do not want to miss.
