Bulldogs tickets are now on sale from Bubba and you won’t want to miss this season’s action. The Bulldogs were founded in 1892 and are members of the Southeastern Conference. Playing out of Sanford Stadium, the bulldogs have won three NCAA Division 1-A college football National Championships, and twelve Southeastern Conference Championships. They are a force to be reckoned with.
Current Head Coach Mark Richt, who joined in 2001 has one of the most impressive records in the division with 82-22-0 to his record. The 2008 season ended with ten victories and a bowl title giving the Bulldogs double digit wins for the sixth time in the past seven seasons. All the pieces are there to make 2009 another winning season.
A change in the Bulldogs lineup for the 2009 season will see Quarterback Joe Cox stepping up to fill the shoes of Matthew Stafford who went number one in the NFL draft. Also enrolled in Georgia this season are Freshmen Zach Mettenberger, and Aaron Murray who participated in spring drills and are being looked at by the coaches. With talent like this on the books, and a winning record behind them, the Bulldogs are heading straight for the top and you won’t want to miss them.
