Tropicana Field

Bubba’s got tickets for Tropicana Field, a domed stadium in St. Petersburg which is home to the Rays. Built in 1990, the stadium remained idle for a few years before becoming home to a hockey team. After a few years, the field was converted to a baseball field. Initially built with AstroTurf, it was replaced in 2000 with FieldTurf becoming the first major professional facility to have it installed.
