Angel Stadium

Originally Anaheim Stadium, Angel Stadium is home to the Los Angeles Angels. Often referred to as The Big A, the stadium has hosted both professional baseball and football games as well as high school and college games, National Football league games, and has also hosted crusades by evangelist Billy Graham. Angel Stadium is the fourth oldest active Major League Baseball stadium in the country and has been chosen to host the 2010 Major League Baseball All Star Game.

Renovations to Anaheim Stadium began in 1996, and the facility was reverted back to baseball only. In 2003, the stadium formally took the name Angels Stadium in 2003 and the renovation cost was totaled at $100 million.

Between Angels games, the stadium hosts events such as, Kids Run The Bases, Family Sunday, 4th of July fireworks specials, and Kids Mesh Jersey. With so many events, it is a rare day when Angels Stadium sits idle. This season the Angels will continue to play out of the Stadium as they make their bid for the World Series.
