US Cellular Field

Home to the Chicago White Sox, Cellular Field is owned by Illinois Sports Facilities Authority. Opened in 1991, the park was designed to replace the old Comiskey Park which at the time was the oldest ball park still in use by the Major Leagues.

One of the first stadiums built after the twenties, Cellular Field was built as a baseball only park, and stands apart as one of the more unique stadiums in the league. Undergoing several renovations, the stadium was retrofit to current architectural trends and new features were added to bring it up to date.
