Metrodome

Often called simply the Metrodome, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome is home to the Minnesota Twins and Bubba’s got tickets on sale now. Opened in 1982 and replacing the older Metropolitan Stadium, the Metrodome is 27 years old and is well known for its fiberglass fabric roof that is supported by air-pressure.

One of the few stadiums to support three different sports teams, the Metrodome is completely climate controlled allowing for basketball as well as football and baseball to be played there. One of the only ballparks in the world to have a roof on it, the Major Leagues have special rules specifically set up for the Metrodome such as balls that hit the roof remain in play. While such occurrences are rare, it is still a site to see.
