Jon Bon Jovi - lead singer and namesake for the band Bon Jovi - formed the band in 1983 and has become well known for writing several hit rock anthems. Bon Jovi’s commitment to the hard-hitting, uplifting rock & roll that has been the band’s indelible signature since it began has given the band incredible longevity.

After several successful albums in the late 1980s, Bon Jovi took a break in the 1990s during which time Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist Richie Sambora both released successful solo albums. In 1992, the band reformed and released several more successful albums.

In 2000, Bon Jovi released their hit single It's My Life, which introduced the band to a younger generation and catapulted them back into center stage. Bon Jovi's latest album, The Circle, was released in November 2009 and has already achieved national aclaim featuring the hit single, We Weren’t Born To Follow.
