Often credited with popularizing punk rock in the states, Green Day’s fan base started as a grassroots movement. Signed to a major label, they released the album, Dookie in 1994 with hits, “Longview”, “Basket Case”, and “When I Come Around”. Their first album and sold over 10 million copies in the U.S. and the rest is history as they quickly rocketed to the top earning them a huge fan base that is the envy of other punk bands.

Band members include lead vocalist & rhythm guitarist, Billie Joe Armstrong, bass & backing vocalist, Mike Dirnt, and drummer, percussion, and backing vocalist, Tré Cool. As their name would suggest, Green Day is very socially active and supports multiple charities and social causes.
